Born in Japan,
Toshi Shimizu arrived in Seattle in
1907. He studied with the Dutch immigrant artist Fokko Tadama (1871-1937) who
had established an art school in Seattle
around 1914. He gained recognition in (showing 500 of 1933 characters). |
