Biography from Boston Art Club:
| Victor Seach was born in New York City and studied at the National Academy of Design, New York City.
His works were shown in New York galleries, and other American galleries, prior to WWII. Seach fought in WWII and accomplished a few works during his enlistment. After the War he continued to paint and exhibit until his departure to Europe in 1962.
Seach worked as a creative director for several publicity agencies successively in Paris, Zurich, London, Essen and Brussels.
In 1971 he established himself in Baisy-Thy, Belgium, and returned to painting and watercolors.
In 1978 Victor Seach returned to Brussels to live there permanently.
Quotes: "An artist should never fall into the trap of routine", Victor Seach.
"Victor Seach is another American who has chosen Belgium to live in and
work in. Seach has always worked consistently, carring through his
carefully constructed abstractions in charcoal, gouache, acrylic, oils
with total disregard for the ebb and flow of surrounding European art
currents," Rona Dobson, A.I.C.A.
