William Wallace Simpson 1880-1956
His parents had settled in Moweaqua, Illinois after his father had ridden cattle drives and worked on now famous ranches. They later returned to Texas. Born in Childress, Texas in 1880, Wallace Simpson started out his cowboy life on the LS Ranch. The ranch was owned by parents William L. & Sarah J. Simpson.
