Biography from European Art Gallery:
| Please note: Artists not classified as American in our database may have limited biographical data
compared to the extensive information about American artists.
Walter Dendy Sadler was born in 1854 in Dorking, England. He exhibited
in London from 1872 at the Royal Academy and the Society of British
Artists on Suffolk Street. He was also a member of the Royal Institute
of Oil Painters.
He has always been admired for the realism and
attention to detail that is apparent in his works. Many of Sadler's
paintings have been reproduced by later artists. |
