Warren Francis Sawyer was born in Medford, MA in 1904 and died in 1977. He graduated the Massachusetts School of Art in 1925 and painted extensively on Cape Cod from the late 1920’s through the 1950’s and in Florida, mostly St Petersburg area, in the 1930’s.
During World Ward II, Sawyer worked in the ship building industry in Winthrop, MA. In 1947, he was listed as a member of the Provincetown Art Association and exhibited his paintings at their Summer Arts Festival.
