| The following, submitted December 2004, is from the artist.
Warren Snodgrass was born and raised in San Francisco. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from Art Center College in Pasadena, California.
While attending Art Center he worked for the architectural firm of William Pereira and after graduation served as a Senior Project Designer for Charles Luckman and Associates.
Warren returned to San Francisco to found Design Technology an industrial design firm that developed a series of successful furniture designs for numerous manufacturers including Steelcase, Haworth, Stow Davis and Thonet. Design Technology received industrial design awards from the A.I.A, I.B.D. and The Industrial Design Society Gold Award.
The Snodgrass Chair is a part of the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
He now devotes his time to a lifelong passion for painting and sculpture in his art studio located in Ross in Marin County. His architectural and design backgrounds are
apparent in his highly structured geometric paintings.
