Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
| Painter, designer, printmaker. Born in Taunton, England on June 4, 1864, the son of artist Frank Sharp.
After art studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago, Sharp taught art for ten years at Stetson University in DeLand, FL. He then spent several years working in Washington, DC before settling in Alhambra, CA in 1907. He taught art at Occidental College for five years, and both designed and installed the stained glass windows in the Mission Inn in Riverside.
Sharp died in Alhambra on Aug. 26, 1944.
