| Primarily a writer and especially known for the book "They Fought Back: The Story of the Jewish Resistance in Nazi Germany," Yuri Suhl was Ukrainian/ American. In 1961, he moved to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts and directed his creative talents to sculpture, especially made from found objects and often incorporating driftwood. |
