From Harlem, New York, Agnes Muench became noted for her portraits
paintings and drawings in charcoal and ink and for
silhouettes. She worked from a home studio, and combined
her art creativity with raising children.
Of her it was said:"she was a sensitive and skilled draftsman and was
able to accomplish quickly a good likeness and a finished portrait."
