Born in Sacramento, CA on Aug. 19, 1911. Templeman earned his M.A. degree from UC Berkeley where he was a pupil of Hans Hofmann. He was a resident of Oakland from the 1920s until shortly before his death in Curry County, OR in August 1986. Exh: Kingsley Art Club (Sacramento), 1933; SFAA, 1937-46; Oakland Art Gallery, 1930s.
