This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Note from Wanda Castner, Volunteer Docent at Old Lyme, March 2004.

Allan Talcott was a member of the Lyme Art Colony.  The Florence Griswold Museum has many of his paintings, including one or more of the dining room wall panels and a few included in the Hartford Steam Boiler collection--a gift to the museum in 2002.

He lived in Old Lyme, and died there at age 40.  Museum staff and exhibition catalogs are sources for further information about Talcott.
