|  Brian Truelove was born in Scotland in the early 20th Century. After studies in London, England with noted artists Harry de Main, and Stanley Woodward he moved to the New England area of the United States. Truelove is best known for his watercolors of the New England coastal areas.
Truelove was an artist member of the Rockport Art Association, the North Shore Art Association, and the Salmagundi Club in New York.
