A painter of portraits, still lives and landscapes, Thornock says about his work:
"I love to observe and make paintings. My work is about the everyday world around me, ordinary objects that surround my existence. The subjects of my paintings range from things banal to extraordinary. My initial choices are usually aesthetic in nature and there is a desire on my part to share what I am seeing. The initial concept comes from a visceral response to the subject matte (showing 500 of 3106 characters). |
