DE MURL TOSH, a native of Kansas, moved to California in 1953 to be near her
family. As a floral designer she opened a shop in Costa Mesa and established
part-time residence in Palm Springs. She was a charter member of the Costa
Mesa Art league and Desert Art Center. The last few years she traveled
extensively, lecturing and demonstrating floral arrangements and capturing
source material with her camera.
