The following information was submitted in April of 2006 by Joyce Moore, a distant relative and family researcher: Edgar Henry Tauch (1901-1967) became interested in art as a child when he discovered a clay bank behind the cotton gin where his father worked in Yoakum, Texas. However, there was little opportunity for artistic development in the small Texas town. In his teens, Edgar began working as a machinist’s helper in the ice plant where his father was employed (showing 500 of 1780 characters). |
