| Gerald Transpota won both gold and silver medals at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo and Art Show 1921-1925 for posters. Transpota was a muralist for Universal and Warner Brothers studios in the 1940's. The artist was a master stone engraver of coins and paper money for the National Printing and Engraving Office. He was also a noted label designer for wineries, breweries and the Fruit Growers Association.
