| Helen V. Tobin was born in Saratoga, CA on Feb. 27, 1869. Tobin studied in San Francisco at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. Most of her life was spent in Redwood City and Los Gatos. A spinster, she died in the latter on Nov. 5, 1955.
