The following information was submitted in March of 2006 by the artist:

James Francis Trigg was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is living in New Mexico.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, Cum Laude Honors (1974), from Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO.  He is primarily an oil painter, working in a representational impressionist style, en plein air and in his studio.  His subjects are architecture, figure and landscapes, generally depicting
the Southwestern United States, primarily Northern New Mexico.


One man show, "Light and Shadow" The Museum of the Southwest, 1705 W. Missouri Ave., Midland, TX 79701, November 2, 2005 to December 31, 2005.
"Nature Observed" National Academy of Professional Plein Air Painters exhibition, National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, New York 10003, September 2005.
