Joy Thomas was born in Borger, Texas in 1958. She paints portraits, still lifes and landscapes en plein air. Her paintings have been selected for many juried shows including the historic Salmagundi Club and National Arts Club of New York City, where she garnered numerous awards.
She received the First Place Prize for Portrait Painting from the American Society of Portrait Artists in 1996. Ms. Thomas won first place in "The Best P (showing 500 of 1859 characters). |
