A forensic artist for more than 18 years in Austin at the Texas
Department of Public Safety, Karen Taylor also taught forensic art at
the FBI Academy and now maintains a studio in Austin. She devotes
most of her time to training other artists to make accurate renditions
of the human face.
She says that "depicting faces has always been my passion. I drew
faces in childhood" and continued from there as though it were an
"obsession". (website)
