Leon L Tadrick was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on November 10, 1925. He served in the U.S. Navy during War World II in the Pacific.
Tadrick studied at the Newark Industrial and Fine Arts College with renowned French impressionist Claude Dern, old master realist painter, Hans Weingaertner, and also Marc Wright a portrait painter in Maplewood, New Jersey and Vermont.
