Born in Parrott, GA. in 1921, he early showed that he was not going to grow up to be a traditional southern gentleman. After a year at Emory University, a course at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and graduation with a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia, he tried his talents as Art Editor of the Atlanta Journal magazine section, and th (showing 500 of 1412 characters). |
