Born in Berwyn, Illinois, Mym Tuma studied at Northwestern University in Evanston; later at Stanford University in California and at New York University where she was awarded two painting scholarships that allowed her to spend a certain amount of time on both coasts. Then Mym set up her studio in Lake Chapala, Mexico. There she experimented with three dimensional works. In 1974, Tuma painted, touring New South Wales and Western Australia, and drew extensively upo (showing 500 of 7023 characters). |
