As an artist for thirty years, Marjorie Tomchuk has won numerous awards for her art. In the past twenty years her work has evolved into a free style combining innovation, imagination and technical skill. This individual creativity is expressed in her unique pieces and multiples rendered on distinctive artist-made papers.
Born in Canada and educated in the United States, Japan and Europe, Ms. Tomchuk has traveled the world extensively gathering impressions for use in her art.
She is recognized in the following biographical books: Artist's U.S.A.; Prints, A Guide to Collecting; American Printmakers; Print World Directory; Art Diary; New York Art Review; American Artists, An Illustrated Survey of Leading Contemporaries; Modern Style; Collector's Art, Limited Edition Print Guide; as well as the various "Who's Who" editions of American Art; International Art and Antiques; American Women; and the World's Who's Who of Women.
She studied at the University of Michigan (MA); Pratt Graphics Center, New York City; Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan; as well as in Germany. This was followed by years of development at her studios first in New York City and then in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Ms. Tomchuk has exhibited in galleries throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and Japan.
