Father Michael Tang is a professor, priest and artist who paints large watercolors inspired by his religious faith as well as contemporary life in Southern California.
He was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He earned his MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1983 and two other master degrees in theology and divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California.
