| | Born in Ohio on Jan. 1, 1879. By 1930 Thompson had settled in San Francisco as an employee of the Baldwin Piano Company. In his leisure he painted. He died at his summer home in Los Gatos, CA on June 20, 1952. He was the husband of Ruth Wetmore.
