| | Born in Russia on March 24, 1888. Tranquillitsky studied at the Imperial Russian School in Kiev. Having worked in Seattle, he was a resident of San Francisco by 1939. He painted murals in the California Bldg on Treasure Island for the GGIE. He died in Napa (CA) State Hospital on April 20, 1951.
