| Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Winfield Thomas worked primarily in that area, completing about 175 watercolor paintings of Haverhill houses. He was a student at the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts where he studied with William Merritt Chase.
He was a member of the Merrimack Valley Art Association and the Boston Society of Independent Artists. His work is in the Andover, Massachusetts Junior High School and the Haverhill Public Library. |
