| | Born in Belgium on Jan. 13, 1855. Urbain immigrated to the U. S. in the late 1890s and by the turn of the century had moved to San Francisco. In 1919 he was returning from his third world tour and exhibiting an 8x12 foot canvas entitled California, Yesterday and Today. He died in San Francisco on March 25, 1934. Exh: Mechanics' Inst.
