| Born in Fairmont, NE on April 20, 1889. Usher studied at AIC, Carnegie Institute, American School of Miniature Painters, the Grand Central School of Art in NYC, and with Will Foster. She lived in Summit, NJ before moving to Los Angeles in the 1930s. A fire destroyed most of her work in 1943. She died in Los Angeles on Sept. 14, 1957. Member: Penn. Society of Min.
