Tom Uttech has spent most of his life in Wisconsin, where he studied at
the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. He also attended the
University of Cincinnati, then returned to Wisconsin to accept a
teaching position and to paint. (1)
Among the state’s unspoiled natural habitats the artist finds abundant
inspiration. He explores the wilderness on foot, hiking and
camping but not sketching. Instead, he relies on memory and
imagination to translate his experience (showing 500 of 1620 characters). |
