A painter known for vivid colors and stylized female figures, landscapes and floral still lifes, Betsy Vincent is prolific, painting about 300 works a year. However, in 1986, most of her work was destroyed by fire. She said that all of her paintings from college forward were in that calamity, but expressed only thankfulness that no one was hurt.
Vincent showed early art talent. Her mother was a professional artist and art teacher. Betsy earned a BFA degree in Paint (showing 500 of 1781 characters). |
