Born in Lima, Peru, Boris Vallejo is a painter of fantasy and erotica
illustrations who immigrated to America in 1964, after attending the
National School of Fine Arts in Peru. His illustration
commissions include work for science fiction/fantasy publishing houses,
album covers, calendars, motion picture advertising and video box
art.
Frequent subjects of his work are "gods, monsters, and well-muscled
