Canadian born and living in Vermont, Claire Van Vliet has a passion for
understanding the natural world, and finds that drawing with ink and
pencil and lithograph engraving of those subjects are conducive to that
understanding. The artists seeks out rock formations on her travels
As a child she lived in England and at age 14 moved to San Diego
followed by a move in her mid 20s to the East Coast. In 1952, she
graduated from San Diego State University and in 1954, earned an M (showing 500 of 1150 characters). |
