This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Edith Nagler (1895-1986) studied with Robert Henri, and owned a summer home in Huntington Massachusetts on a lane now known as Nagler Crossroad.

Her work is in museums in Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts where she lived in the first part of her career, as well as in Houston museums where she later settled with her artist husband Fred Nagler.

Submitted by Cornelia C. Moynihan, fine-art professional

According to Fred Nagler's great-niece Susan Nagler Beatty, Edith and Fred Nagler settled in Dallas, not Houston, Texas, where their son makes his home today.
