A sculptor of animal subjects, Emanuel Viviano was born in Chicago, and lived there and in Westport, Connecticut. He was active in the Chicago Society of Artists, and also in the Woodstock Art Association in Woodstock, New York.
According to John LaValle of Woodstock, Viviano lived in one of the cabins at the "Byrdcliffe Arts and Crafts Colony" in Woodstock during the later portion of his life. He created several of his animal sculptures during this period, including a "Byrdcliffe" bird. (showing 500 of 980 characters). |
