| A native Californian, Jerry Venditti is a painter of trompe l'oeil still life of Southwest motifs and also a painter of landscapes. He is a first generation Italian American who grew up in the Bay area, and he and his wife live on 12 acres of land near Sebastopol.
He studied with Tom Jordan, an instructor at the San Francisco Art Institute who had moved to Sebastopol and evolved a realist style unique to him.
