As a self-trained Chicano artist and carver, my focus is the richness
of the Chicano/Latino culture, especially through the depiction of the
Saints and skeletons (Santos y Calavera), two strong icons of the Alpha
and the Omega of spiritual life. These two subjects are not far
off the Alpha and the Omega mark. Saints or Santos, in this
