| Born in Minneapolis, MN on June 26, 1875. As the wife of Henry Van Dyke, Katherine lived in Minneapolis where her husband was senior attorney for the Pillsbury Company. She studied at the Boston Museum School under Frank Benson for two years followed by study in Paris at Académie Julian and in NYC at the ASL. After the death of her husband in the 1930s, the widow then moved to France for a few years before moving to California. After a brief time in Santa Barbara, she built a home on the Mon (showing 500 of 791 characters). |
