| | Born in Betteravia, CA on June 13, 1908. Veglia began sketching and painting during high school as a self-taught artist. By the 1930s he had settled in Casmalia in Santa Barbara County where he owned a restaurant called the Hitching Post. His artwork was done before 1960 and includes landscapes and still lifes. He died in San Luis Obispo, CA on Sept. 12, 1988.
