This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following information is from Dena Bennett:

Maurice Van Felix took several of his painting in the Atlantic City area. He was honored for his canvas over the years.

A native of Poland, he  had completed  more than 60 sketches and paintings, mostly waterfront and boat scenes.

One of his oil paintings depicting the Albany Avenue Bridge, hangs in the office of, Revenue and Finance Director William T. Sommers.  Another, Marina Bay, won first prize in Paris in the fall of 1960 in the annual Washington Square Outdoor Exhibit, in New York City.  He was awarded Artist of Genius and Creativity.

I have a oil painting of his, which is the back of the house showing low tide, and our docks and two boats.

The picture on your site, is a house near the Pleasantville Yacht Club.
