| | Born in Orange, CA on June 23, 1915. Vinson was a resident of San Francisco in the 1930s. Her watercolors were used to illustrate three books (printed by the Grabhorn Press): Festivals in San Francisco (1939), Around the World in San Francisco by Leonard Austin (1940), Hilltop Russians in San Francisco with text by William Soroyan (1941). In the early 1940s she moved to NYC to illustrate children's books for MacMillan Company.
