Abe Weiner was born the oldest child of four children, to Russian Jewish immigrant parents. He began to draw as a young child. Although he needed to work at his father’s paper hanger business after high school, he attended Carnegie Institute of Technology at night school, and obtained a degree in fine art. His most influential teachers were Alexander Costello and Samuel Rosenberg. His initial works wer (showing 500 of 3908 characters). |
