| Born in Uganda and raised in a family where both his grandfathers and his mother were artists, Albert Wilson became a portrait artist, using a No. 2 lead pencil. In 1973, he moved from Africa to London where he studied at the Central School of Art and Design. In 1980, he moved to the United States, settling in Corona, California after earning a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
In 2003, Wilson was the feature artist in Arizona of the Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival.
