| | Born in Java on Oct. 12, 1901. Weygers studied art in the studio of Lorado Taft in Chicago followed by study in Europe. By the mid-1930s he had moved to California and was a resident of Berkeley. In the 1960s he settled on the Monterey Peninsula into a studio-home in Carmel Valley. He died there on July 23, 1989. Exh: Cliff Hotel (SF), 1937 (solo); Oakland Art Gallery, 1937; SFAA, 1937, 1938.
