| A painter, teacher and writer who lived in Madison, Wisconsin, Ambrosia
White was an art teacher in the 1940s in Wisconsin in Beloit, the Dane
County Rural Schools, and St. James Parochial Schools in Madison.
She was also a primary teacher in District 122 in Rockford, Illinois,
1953-55.
She was author of Holiday Story Book.
White attended Notre Dame Academy; Saint Louis School Fine Arts; the
University Wisconsin (B.S.) where she studied with Frederic Taubes; and
Washington University, St. Louis.
She was a member of the Madison, Wisconsin Artists Guild
Exhibition venues included the St. Louis Artists Guild, 1935;
All-Illinois Society of Fine Arts, 1936-38; Milwaukee Art
Institute, 1938; Wisconsin Salon of Art, 1943 and Madison Artists
Guild, 1935-46.
