Painter. Born in Los Angeles, CA on Oct. 31, 1889.
Whelan studied at Stanford University, ASL in NYC, Los Angeles School of Art & Design, with Nicholas Haz and Boardman Robinson.
A spinster and lifelong resident of Los Angeles, she died on March 2, 1974.
Her work includes seascapes, florals, and portraits. Member: Calif. Art Club; Whitney Studio Club; Laguna Beach AA; Women Painters of the West.
