| Born in Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 16, 1911, Brett Weston, the son of photographer Edward Weston, was employed by the WPA in the 1930s. He won a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1947. He had homes in Carmel Valley, CA and Kona, HI until his demise in the latter on Jan. 22, 1993.
