| | Born on May 15, 1905. While a resident of Los Angeles in the 1920s, Waring was a scene painter for the silent movies and was active in the local art scene into the 1930s. She later wed writer Allan A. Lewis and moved to Westport, CT where she remained until her demise on March 7, 1993. Exh: Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1934, 1935; Public Works of Art Project, So.
