Christopher Walsh (ISMP/ASMA)
(American b.1959)
Born and raised on Long Island, New York I started oil painting at a very young age. Always attracted to sailing and the sea, it was here where I started to take serious interest in painting clipper ships and other nautical scenes. With a technical sense for detail I was inspired to overcome painting such difficult subjects without taking painting lessons. More recent most of the marine scenes are created from imagination.
